Something about gravity
The first thing you can think of is: For God's sake, won´t this child fall out of the cart?
Adults often think that children need to be protected all the time. However, by such an approach children can not learn the consequences of their behaviour. With the child´s first steps and first falls, the child perceives the Earth's gravity. With this experience, he/ she behaves on the cart with natural respect – he/ she holds the handlebars firmly and gets off cautiously.
The more kilometres he/ she rides on the cart he/ she naturally becomes less cautious and can fall down. These situations can not be endlessly prevented. It's the same as when the child first drops your hand.
If the child falls down, there might be a few tears and bruises but the child thus learns that he/ she has to be more cautious next time.
